Is this the same as a massage?

No. There is no hands-on treatment. Vibroacoustic sessions use carefully chosen sound and vibration rather than manual bodywork. Client describe the experience as deeply soothing and restorative in a different way than traditional massage, while some say it feels like an “inner massage”.

What can I expect during a session?

You will recline comfortably while sound and gentle vibration are delivered through the table or chair. Sessions are private, quiet, and adjustable. Many guests report feeling deeply relaxed, mentally quieter, and physically settled afterward.

Will the vibration be too strong?

No. You control the vibration and music volume level instantly through our custom app adjustable. We are also available to assist you to ensure you have a relaxing immersive experience. Sessions are designed to be calming, not overwhelming.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing is highly recommended. Soft casual clothing, travel wear, or light athletic wear are ideal. Please note that no belts or buckles or other potentially damaging objects are allowed on the vibroacoustic tables. You remain fully clothed during the session. Please note that all devices must be muted to ensure a full uninterrupted experience.

How long are sessions?

Sessions are offered in multiple lengths depending on availability, including 30-minute, 45-minute, and 60-minute experiences.

Which session length should I choose?

30 Minutes – Ideal for a quick reset after travel or activity.
45 Minutes – A balanced session offering greater depth of inner massage experience.
60 Minutes – Best for a fuller immersive experience.

Do I need to arrive early?

Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time to settle in and begin your session smoothly. Please note that entry is not permitted to the studio more than 10 minutes prior to your session in order to preserve the privacy and uninterrupted immersion for all of our clients.

Are walk-ins welcome?

Due to the private and immersive nature of the experience, walk-ins are not available. Sessions are by reservation only so that each guest can enjoy an uninterrupted and personalized environment.

Are vibroacoustic sessions suitable for everyone?

Most guests find the experience comfortable and relaxing. If you have a medical condition, implanted device, sound sensitivity, or specific concerns, please contact us before booking.

Is Float Studio wheelchair accessible?

The entry to Float Studio is on a level grade with a 36″ wide door. Tables have been intentionally designed to allow for easier access. Please note that we do not have an accessible washroom onsite. If you or your float partner require wheelchair access, please ensure you notify us in advance so that we may give you special access instructions.

Can two people book together?

Yes. Consecutive or paired bookings may be available depending on scheduling capacity.

Is this a good evening activity in Gros Morne?

Float Studio is intentionally designed around later afternoon and evening session. Many guests enjoy sessions in the evening after hiking, touring, boating, or a day exploring the park. It can be an ideal way to unwind before or after dinner or before bed.

Can I book after hiking or the Western Brook Pond tour?

Yes. Many guests choose sessions after physically active days, long drives, or sightseeing.

What if I fall asleep?

That is completely fine. Many guests become deeply relaxed during the session.

Can I use my phone during the session?

To preserve the quiet atmosphere and quality of the experience, phones must be silenced and set aside during the session.

Do you offer refunds?

Refunds may be available when cancellations are made within the required notice period. Missed appointments or late cancellations may be non-refundable.

What is your cancellation policy?

We kindly request advance notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Specific notice periods will be provided during booking. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee.

What if I am late?

Late arrival may shorten your session length in order to respect the next guest’s reserved time.

Is there parking available?

Parking information and arrival details will be provided with your reservation confirmation.
